Porscheshop 2009 Autumn Open Day

Our latest Open Day gave old friends and new the chance to catch up on all the latest goings on in the 911 and Porsche world. We had representatives from TIPEC, PCGB, Club Motorsport and Nurburgringers.net on hand to chat and advise when and where best to enjoy your car. We also had Roy and Anj Jones on site to promote their Parasol Charity for recently injured solders at war who are flown directly into Selly Oak Hospital from all around the world. Through their "everyone's a winner" Raffle they managed to raise over £200 on the day! :-)

As usual we had our onsite caterer for the day and the weather was perfect for an outdoor "car show". Our showroom had been given over for standing space should it have rained and we had our shop's GT3 displaying the latest EuroCup suspension which carried the car to a sub 9 min lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife in August this year.

Thanks must go to Geoff Ives for providing us with some great pictures of the day and to everyone who came along and supported the event. Roy and Anj Jones would also like to thank everyone who kindly donated to the Parasol Charity, a charity which we know is close to their hearts, having their own son currently in active service.
